Our Commitment to Care
Due to the bespoke nature of our carefully scheduled business, it is impossible to rebook pet care slots on the fly. While we understand that life happens, cancellations are financially detrimental to our business and our sitters. In instances of force majeure or emergencies, Pampered Moose will work with pet owners to accommodate changes whenever possible.

Weather & Safety
In Central Oregon, we experience extreme heat, hazardous wildfire smoke, winter storms, and dangerous fog. To ensure the safety of your pets and our sitters:

• Services scheduled during extreme weather events will be modified.

• Walks will either be rescheduled for a future date or converted to Indoor Enrichment & Play Visits with minimal potty-break exposure to the elements.

• Credits or rescheduling can be applied specifically for emergency cancellations or hazardous weather conditions.

Holiday Service & Billing
We prioritize our existing, loyal clients for holiday scheduling. To advocate for our sitters’ time and energy, a holiday fee is added to all services within holiday periods.

Holiday periods include: New Year’s Day, MLK Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Juneteenth (observed), Independence Day, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday/Friday), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and all Spring Break bookings (refer to Bend-La Pine Schools’ calendar)

Holiday Payment Schedule

• 50% Deposit: Due at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

• Remaining 50%: Due 14 days (2 weeks) prior to the service start date.

Standard Payment Schedule
Non-Holiday Services: Full payment is due 7 days (1 week) prior to the service start date.

Cancellation & Revenue Protection
Cancellations made outside of the required notice windows below are non-refundable. In these instances, the card on file will be charged for 100% of the original booking cost.

Payment Methods

• A valid credit card must be maintained on file in the Time To Pet portal.

• Checks: May be mailed to our PO Box (Payable to Pampered Moose LLC). Please do not mail cash.

• On-Site: Cash or checks may be left in a visible location for the sitter to collect at the start of the first visit.

• Auto-Charge: If payment is not received by the deadlines above, the balance will be automatically charged to the card on file.

Transit & Mileage

• Mileage: A mileage fee may be applied to the total service cost based on travel distance.

• Safety: For services requiring transport (Off-Leash, Socialization, Chauffeur, or Wedding), pets are secured in a climate-controlled vehicle via crash-tested crates, safety harnesses, or cargo barriers. Pet owners assume all risks associated with vehicular transport
